In today's cruise news update, we cover three major stories from Cruise Hive. First, Disney Cruise Line has revealed its Summer 2027 cruise schedule, with bookings opening February 23rd and Castaway Club early access on February 16th — featuring the Disney Wish's transatlantic sailing to Barcelona, Alaska voyages on the Disney Magic and Wonder, and more. Next, Australian maritime authorities boarded the Carnival Encounter in Darwin after a whistleblower crew member submitted hundreds of complaints alleging low pay, long hours, and poor conditions. Finally, Carnival Cruise Line is reminding guests about its scooter policy ahead of Carnival Venezia's 14-night Southern Caribbean sailing on February 22nd — if your scooter doesn't meet the size requirements, you might not board.
