BOARDING Liberty of the Seas! (They Gave Us Free Champagne?!)
We’re finally boarding Royal Caribbean’s Liberty of the Seas for a very special cruise: a total solar eclipse cruise from Southampton. But before we even get on the ship, we’ve got a train to catch, luggage to drop off and a terminal to navigate. And once we’re onboard, the day gets surprisingly busy! This is our first look at Liberty of the Seas since her long-awaited Royal Amplification, including the new pool areas, Windjammer, our spacious balcony cabin, the Royal Promenade and some of the entertainment onboard. We also discover something we apparently should have known about years ago… welcome champagne! 🥂 Then it's our first dinner in the Main Dining Room, the new Boots & Blades ice show, the Welcome Aboard show, our first eclipse briefing with the onboard experts, and a very busy black-and-white balloon drop party to finish the night.
