What’s it really like staying in a veranda stateroom aboard Viking Sea? Come along as I take you inside our accommodations during my first Viking Ocean cruise through the Mediterranean! I was invited by Viking to experience a Mediterranean voyage aboard Viking Sea, and in this video, I’m giving you a firsthand look at our veranda stateroom, including the layout, amenities, bathroom, private balcony, and the little details that made our stay so comfortable. Here’s what you’ll see in this room tour: * The Scandinavian-inspired stateroom design and furnishings * Our comfortable beds and sitting area * Storage, desk space, and room amenities * The bathroom with a spacious glass-enclosed shower and heated floors * Our private veranda and views from the ship What did I love most? The comfort and quiet! Our beds were wonderfully soft, we could keep the room nice and cool, and we didn’t hear noise from neighboring staterooms. I also appreciated that routine ship announcements weren’t coming through speakers inside our room. And that bathroom? I loved the spacious shower with its glass door—no shower curtain to wrestle with! The heated bathroom floors were another wonderful touch. For me, this stateroom was more than just a place to sleep. It was a peaceful retreat after full days exploring the Mediterranean.
