🌊💦 GREAT TIDES WATERPARK IS OFFICIALLY OPEN! 💦🌊
It’s finally here! 🎉 Great Tides Waterpark at Norwegian Cruise Line’s Great Stirrup Cay is NOW OPEN, and this place takes a private-island day to a whole new level! 🏝️ We were lucky enough to get a sneak peek before the official opening, and there is SO MUCH to experience throughout this nearly 6-acre waterpark! 🌊 TIDAL TOWER The massive 170-foot centerpiece of the park packed with thrills: 💦 Breakwater Blasters – dueling water coasters with uphill blasts and drops (our favorite!!) 💦 Whitewater Dash – high-speed body slides 💦 Rapid Mat Racers – race your friends to the bottom (Jason beat me!!) 💦 Tropic Storm – twisting tube-slide action 💦 Tropic Spiral – the world’s first Nautilus slide with huge spinning spirals 🪨 CLIFFSIDE COVE This might be the area for the biggest adrenaline rush! 😱 Cliffside Leap – 10- and 15-foot cliff jumps (Jason was brave enough to try the 15ft jump!!!) 💦 The Great Slide – a four-person family body slide 💦 Fearless Falls – racing slides that drop you into the water 🍹 Grotto Bar – a hidden bar tucked right into Cliffside Cove 🌴 WANDERING RIVER This is definitely NOT your ordinary lazy river! It stretches more than 800 feet and includes: 🌊 Currents and surprises along the way ✨ An immersive multimedia tunnel (you MUST go through multiple times as it changes!!) 🏊 An attached pool 🍹 Floataway Bar – a SWIM-UP BAR right along the river! (How cool is this??) 👧 SPLASH CAY More than 9,000 square feet designed for family fun! 💦 8 kid-friendly slides 🪣 A HUGE 300-gallon tipping bucket 🌊 Interactive water features and splash areas And altogether, Great Tides features 19 WATERSLIDES — 11 main attractions plus 8 slides for younger adventurers! 🤯 When it’s time for a break, there are lounge chairs, umbrellas and cabanas, plus plenty of food and drinks throughout the park.
