Celebrity Cruises Cruise Ship Celebrity Edge leaving Sydney Harbour for the last time this Cruise season. She is sailing on a 25 day repositioning cruise to the City of Vancouver. She will be travelling across the vast Pacific Ocean and heading North to Vancouver Canada. She will be visiting Bay of Islands, Auckland, New Zealand, Raiatea Island, Papeete, Moorea Island, French Polynesia, Honolulu, Oahu Island, Hilo, Kailua-Kona, Hawaii and Vancouver BC Canada arriving on the15th of May 2026. Celebrity Edge has a very unusual exterior design, Her funnel is designed in the shape of an X Which is the Logo of Celebrity Cruises and can be traced back to Chandris Line. They were operating older refurbished Ocean Liners on the immigrant trade from Europe to Australia in the 1960s and early 70s. There were some famous names like Australis, the former United States Line’s Ocean Liner America (1940),Ellinis (1933) and Britanis the former Monterey (1931) All were classic Ocean Liners and they all had the X painted on the Funnel. Celebrity Edge has an interesting shaped Bow design, it is sometimes referred to as an inverted bow and is also called a Parabolic Ultra Bow. This is designed for fuel efficiency by reducing drag moving through the water. Celebrity Edge also has the Magic Carpet, this is the bright orange platform that moves up and down the Ships Starboard side and can be seen in the video.
