Today, we are exploring Belize City, which means starting the morning with a ship-to-shore tender boat ride. Belize is famous for having no natural sandy beaches right by the main cruise port, so we head over to the unique Cucumber Beach. In this video, we share the fascinating local history of how this spot actually got its name in the 1950s! 🥒 we hang out at the beach club, chat with some brilliant local guides (including a memorable character named BJ!), sample local coconut water, and even track down some retro "Devil" coconut and strawberry creams! 🥥🍓 After heading back on the taxi at 2:00 PM to catch our tender boat, the rest of our day turns into a proper sea day as the ship sets sail for New Orleans.
