My inside passage cruise ported into Ketchikan for 4 hours or so. I didn’t book any excursions because of the time constraints. I opted to walk around and do a little shopping. There are plenty of places offering tours/excursions at reasonable prices. Ketchikan is very walkable. The vibe seems to be easy going. I saw a couple of workers tendering to the hanging flowers. Lots of care to keep Ketchikan beautiful. I saw a whale 🐳 close to the pier. Ketchikan felt vibrant and colorful. I understand why some members want to limit the amount of visitors .
