We Visited the MOST RECOMMENDED Place in the Top End (Kakadu NP)
This week we finally make it to Kakadu National Park, and it did not start how we expected. With parts of the park closed, we head to the welcome center to find out what we can actually Kaka-do, before ticking off a bucket-list spot we've wanted to see since arriving in Australia. We spot wild crocs at Cahills Crossing, meet some not so friendly locals in the car park, camp inside the national park at Merl Campground, and catch an unreal sunset over the plains at Ubirr. The next day we head to Jabiru for a crocodile-shaped hotel, and you guessed it, coffee! Before taking a morning hike for some ancient Aboriginal rock art on the Nanguluwurr walk, and the perfect end to the day with a cold beer.
