SeaTac Airport to Downtown Seattle for $3? Learn all About Seattle's Link Light Rail for Your Cruise
Flying into Seattle for a cruise? Before you book an expensive taxi or rideshare, here’s a much cheaper and very easy option to know about that’s well worth taking: Seattle’s Link Light Rail. In this video, learn just easy it is to use the Link Light Rail from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport to downtown Seattle, including how to find the station from baggage claim, how much it costs, which direction to ride, and which cruise terminals it works best for. The Link Light Rail is a perfect choice if you’re staying downtown before your cruise or sailing from Pier 66, the Bell Street Cruise Terminal, used by lines such as Norwegian Cruise Line and Oceania. If you’re sailing from Pier 91, also known as Smith Cove Cruise Terminal, the light rail can still save you money by getting you downtown first, where you can take a shorter, and much less expensive, rideshare or taxi to the terminal. Also, learn about Port Valet, a direct baggage transfer service that's completely free and allows you to explore Seattle post-cruise without dragging your suitcases behind you. I’ll share what I did before and after my Holland America cruise from Pier 91, including staying at the Kimpton Monaco, visiting Seattle’s International District and Pike Place Market. 🚃 In this video: • Seattle-Tacoma Airport to downtown Seattle • How to find the Link Light Rail station at Sea-Tac • Using the 1 Line • Getting to Pier 66 from Westlake Station • How to save money even if your cruise leaves from Pier 91 • Using the free Port Valet service that checks your luggage after your Seattle cruise directly to your flight Seattle is a wonderful city to spend a day or two before or after your cruise, and the Link Light Rail makes it simple, affordable, and stress-free to get around. #cruiseports #seattletravel #seatac #CruiseTips #hollandamerica #princesscruiseship #norwegiancruiseline
