We first stepped aboard the Regent Seven Seas Grandeur in November 2023 — three nights on her preview shakedown cruise, brand new ship, rough edges included. Two and a half years later, Anita and I went back. Same ship. Very different experience. A quick heads up on this video - I partially lost my voice during the making of this video, so please excuse the sqeaky voice in places. This is our full review of the English Channel Icons itinerary — roundtrip Southampton, calling at Saint-Malo, La Rochelle, Bordeaux (with an overnight), Biarritz, Bilbao and La Coruña — covering everything from the suite and the food to the entertainment, the shore excursions, and the honest answer to whether Regent's claim of "the most luxurious ship ever built" holds up when the novelty has worn off.
