With the shock announcement that Queen Anne will be leaving Cunard for P&O Cruises in 2029, we're exploring the ship for ourselves and sharing our honest first impressions. Welcome aboard Queen Anne! We're Sharon and David from Taste Trek Tales, and this is the start of our four-night Cunard cruise adventure. We've never sailed with Cunard before, so we're excited to find out whether Queen Anne really is as posh and traditional as people say! In this Queen Anne embarkation day vlog, we take you through the embarkation process before heading straight to the Artisan Food Hall for lunch. We show you the food available, what we choose to eat and, of course, what we actually think of it! After lunch, it's time to explore this beautiful cruise ship. We enjoy some champagne, visit the Sky Bar and take a good look around The Pavilion, with its swimming pool and impressive retractable glass roof. Could this eventually become a P&O Cruises SkyDome? We share our thoughts! In the evening, we try Aranya, Queen Anne's speciality Indian restaurant, which comes at an additional cost. Is it worth paying extra for? Then it's off to the Royal Court Theatre to watch Pure Soul, before exploring the rest of the evening entertainment. We discover folk music in the Golden Lion, a silent disco in the Queens Room and karaoke in Bright Lights Society! There's certainly plenty happening on Queen Anne, but will Cunard win us over? Is it really too posh for us? And could Queen Anne be a good fit for P&O Cruises?
