We start our day with Carnival Cruise brunch, enjoying a fun filled first time choices meal before heading out to see what the ship has waiting for us. One of the things we’ve learned about cruising is that there are so many food choices, activities, shows, parties, and events happening throughout the day that you simply cannot do everything. And that’s okay! If you are a first-time Carnival cruiser, the number of things happening around the ship can feel a little overwhelming at first. The Carnival Hub App and daily schedule can be filled with activities happening at the same time, so part of the cruise experience is simply deciding what sounds like fun to YOU. Next, it’s time to get moving with a Tina Turner Dance Class aboard Carnival Sunshine. Whether you know all the moves or are just there for the fun, Carnival Cruise dance activities are a great way to meet other passengers, laugh a little, and enjoy something you may not normally do at home. They even had an chair dancing instructor for those with mobility concerns. After plotting our Guy's Burger Bonus Episode, we came across Carnival Sunshine' line dancing on the Lido Deck. There’s music, dancing, sunshine, ocean views, and plenty of cruise vacation energy as passengers come together for one of those classic Carnival sea-day moments. From the Lido Deck, our Carnival Sunshine adventure continues with a Slot Pull event. We joined the fun during our Creators at Sea Group Cruise, and of course you never quite know what is going to happen once that button gets pushed. We also catch some of the colorful family entertainment aboard Carnival Sunshine with the Seuss at Sea Parade. Carnival’s Seuss at Sea activities bring another completely different experience to the ship, reminding us just how many types of entertainment can be happening aboard one Carnival Cruise on the very same day. Our casual Carnival Sunshine Sea Day turns into Fancy Night, so we get dressed up and take some Carnival Cruise elegant night pictures near the Alchamey Bar with the creators at Sea Group. For cruisers wondering whether you have to participate in Carnival Cruise elegant night or formal night, remember that everybody cruises differently. We enjoy taking the opportunity to dress up, take some pictures together, enjoy the atmosphere around the ship, and make a few cruise memories along the way. After our Fancy Night photos, we head to dinner and continue exploring the Carnival Sunshine dining experience. Dinner is another part of cruising that can be completely different from one passenger to another. Some people choose the Main Dining Room, some prefer the buffet, and others may decide to try one of the specialty or casual dining options around the ship. That is one of the things we enjoy showing on Travel Cake Trips. Two cruisers can be sailing aboard the exact same Carnival Sunshine cruise, on the exact same Sea Day, and have two completely different vacations. After dinner, the entertainment continues with the Motown Showdown, bringing music, audience participation, laughs, and more Carnival Cruise nighttime entertainment into our Sea Day adventure. From Carnival Cruise brunch to a Tina Turner Dance Class, Lido Deck line dancing, a Slot Pull, the Seuss at Sea Parade, Fancy Night pictures, Carnival Sunshine dinner, and the Motown Showdown, this Sea Day definitely gave us plenty to experience.
