In this honest Cunard Queen Mary 2 review, we share our real experience of a 2-night cruise on QM2, including the boarding experience, Britannia balcony cabin, food, drinks package, entertainment, disembarkation and our overall thoughts on whether we would sail on Queen Mary 2 again. We had just two nights on board, sailing along the UK coast, so this is a genuine Queen Mary 2 mini cruise review from the perspective of first-time QM2 passengers. One of the biggest issues was the boarding process. What should have been a quick embarkation turned into around 2 hours and 10 minutes after an air bridge problem, which was particularly frustrating on a two-night cruise because every hour on board matters. We also take a look at our Britannia balcony cabin on Queen Mary 2. Was it worth the money? How big was the balcony? Was the cabin clean? We give you our honest opinion based on what we experienced. Then there's the Cunard Queen Mary 2 food review. We ate in the Britannia Main Dining Room and also experienced the buffet, discussing the quality of the food, service and what we thought overall. Our personal rating for the cruise food was around 8/10. We also had a Cunard drinks package, so we talk about the drinks, the 15-drink limit, cocktails, beer and our experience in the ship's bars and lounges. What about Queen Mary 2 entertainment? We look at the atmosphere around the ship, live music, the nightclub, pub and evening entertainment—and explain whether QM2 had enough to keep us entertained during such a short cruise. However, our biggest issue was the length of the cruise. With only two nights onboard—and losing valuable time during boarding—it felt far too short for us.
