How a movie inspired me to make a model to boarding the actual ship #poseidon #cruise #queensland
In 2006 I watched “Poseidon” & decided to make my own version I used to build model ships out of plastic milk bottles & cereal boxes. I based my Poseidon on the Grand-class cruise ships. After building it I had fun watching it capsize then sink in my friend’s pool. After I moved on the model deteriorated & was thrown into the rubbish bin. In 2023 my mother suggested for my 30th birthday we should go a small cruise so I checked the P&O website, discovered they bought 2 Grand class ships & I chose a 5 day cruise on the Pacific Encounter with my parents, sister, my sister’s fiancé & my best friend. Funny how this turned out.
