Before You Board Royal Caribbean, Know These 5 Tips!
Getting ready to board a Royal Caribbean cruise? Here are some important embarkation-day tips you need to know! I'm at the Port of Galveston getting ready to board Symphony of the Seas, and I'm sharing a few things that can make your first day much easier. First, you can typically drop off your checked luggage with the porters before parking. Make sure your bags have their Royal Caribbean luggage tags attached, and bring some cash if you'd like to tip your porter. Next, pack your carry-on carefully! Your checked luggage may not arrive at your stateroom until later in the day. Keep your passports, identification, medications, valuables, sunscreen, swimsuits, and anything else you'll need immediately in your carry-on. I'm also explaining Royal Caribbean's rules for bringing soda, wine, and other permitted beverages onboard. These need to follow the cruise line's current carry-on beverage policy. Finally, make sure you've completed your online check-in and have your boarding documents ready. The Royal Caribbean terminal in Galveston is spacious and convenient, and I'm excited to take you along as we board Symphony of the Seas! Planning a Royal Caribbean cruise?
