Christmas morning in San Juan, Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 — and the city is eerily quiet. In this travel vlog, I wander the empty streets of Old San Juan at sunrise, searching for breakfast, coffee, piña coladas, and even secret bathroom codes that every traveler should know. Along the way, I dive into Puerto Rico’s history, visit one of the oldest churches in the Americas, and talk with locals about life on the island. Later in the day, curiosity gets the best of me as I explore La Perla, a waterfront neighborhood often described as the most dangerous area in San Juan. Police warned me not to go — but what I found there may surprise you. From legendary piña colada lines at Barrachina, to hidden cafés, to spontaneous conversations with locals (and a few free beers), this was one unforgettable Christmas Day adventure in Puerto Rico.
