Our Caribbean Princess Cruise Got Weird… But the Nuggets Were Incredible
Join us for Part 2 of our Caribbean Princess cruise vlog as we continue our 7-day cruise with sea days, specialty dining, Amber Cove, Grand Turk, and what we started calling the “Chicken Nugget Cruise.” Day 4 is a sea day, and honestly, we do not have a ton planned. We wander around the ship, get a workout in, watch Deal or No Deal onboard — which I’m pretty sure might be rigged — and head back to Sabatini’s Italian Trattoria for dinner. This time, the service is much faster and way better than our first experience. Day 5 takes us to Amber Cove in the Dominican Republic, where we try something we have never done before: a catamaran excursion with snorkeling. This ended up being one of the highlights of the cruise and was such a fun day off the ship. Later that night, we eat at Crown Grill, the steakhouse onboard Caribbean Princess. The food was good, but dinner took forever — about two hours. Day 6 is Grand Turk, a port we have visited before, so we keep it simple. We get off the ship and enjoy the beach right next to the cruise port, which is one of the easiest beach days you can have on a cruise. Day 7 is our final sea day, so we spend the day wandering around the ship, eating as much as we can, and soaking up the last bit of the cruise. Then comes disembarkation day, where things get annoying because our ship docks at a different terminal than where we parked, meaning we have to go from one terminal to another just to get back to the car. This vlog has Amber Cove, Grand Turk, catamaran snorkeling, specialty dining, sea days, cruise food, and of course… the legendary chicken nuggets that may have been one of the best things on the ship.
