Join me on a one day cruise port guide to the vibrant Italian city of Naples - otherwise known as Napoli. I visited on a cruise on Cunard Queen Victoria and had one day to explore the city on foot. In my video you can see just how close the city centre is from the cruise terminal - just a short walk. I'll show you the Monastery Saint Martin and the Castel Saint Elmo, high on Vomero Hill with panoramic views of the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius. We'll look at Castel Neuvo, Galleria Umberto, Cafe Gambrinus, the opera house Teatro di San Carlo, the Royal Palace and Piazza del Plebiscito. We'll go into the stunning Basilica di San Francesco di Paola. Next we'll explore Via Toledo with its shops, street music and bustling activity. We'll look at the Church of Saint Orsola and the Ponte Di Chiaia. Lastly we have to have pizza in the birthplace of pizza!
