Skjolden, Norway #travelguide #travel #cruise #vlog #norway #skjolden #fjords
Join me in beautiful Skjolden in the Norwegian Fjords. I'm on a Cunard cruise on Queen Anne. Norway is a stunning country and I'm visiting the longest and deepest Fjord - Sognefjord. Skjolden is a small village with only about 200 residents, but its a lovely cruise port with spectacular mountains, nature and shimmering blue water. I visit the tourist information centre, a couple of cafes, the Skjolden Hotel, the supermarket and craft shop. I show you how to walk to the centre of the village from the cruise dock. You can see paddle boarding, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, bike hire and RIB tours and a bus excursion. I also visit the Llama farm! I walk to the Asafossen waterfall, see a reconstructed viking ship and the red sculpture by Kati Casida. Its a special port of call.
