I spent around $5,000 crossing the Atlantic on Queen Mary 2 - a ship I already knew wasn’t really my style. Seven days, no port stops… so why did I book it? This wasn’t a normal cruise. I joined 125 digital nomads for an AI-themed Nomad Cruise, with workshops, coaching and time to build something of my own while we sailed to New York. In this video, I share what the week was really like: rough Atlantic weather, formal evenings, travelling solo, making friends and finding out whether the Wi-Fi could cope with us all using AI tools in the middle of the ocean! Would I book this crossing as a regular holiday? Would I do another Nomad Cruise? Those turned out to be two very different questions… 🚢 Find out more about Nomad Cruise: https://cruisemummy.co.uk/nomad 💸 Use code CRUISEMUMMY for a €100 discount The roughly US$5,000 total includes my solo ocean-view cabin and Nomad Cruise programme, flight home, train travel and drinks package.
