Legend of the Seas With 9,700 People: What It's Really Like
I cruised on the world’s biggest cruise ship with almost 9,700 people onboard - around 7,200 guests plus 2,500 crew. So did Legend of the Seas feel ridiculously crowded… or has Royal Caribbean somehow figured out how to make a ship this enormous actually work? We sailed for seven nights at the end of summer, and there were definitely some problems. But there were also plenty of great surprises. In this video I’m sharing what Legend of the Seas is really like when it’s full, including the pools and waterslides, kids clubs, food, entertainment, our balcony cabin, the quieter places onboard, and whether I’d actually pay to sail on her again. I’ll also share some useful tips if you’re planning a Legend of the Seas cruise — including the best time to use the waterslides, how to get into sold-out activities and shows, where to eat if you want to avoid the Windjammer, and whether this is really the right ship for a port-heavy Mediterranean cruise. Would 9,700 people put you off, or would you love to try a ship this big? Let me know in the comments. 📍 Cruise Line: Royal Caribbean 🛳 Ship: Legend of the Seas About Cruise Mummy: My name’s Jenni and I’ve worked in the cruise industry since 2015.
