Do Royal Caribbean Drink Packages Work in Galveston?

Sailing on Royal Caribbean out of Galveston, Texas? Here's something you should know about your drink package! You can start using your Royal Caribbean drink package as soon as you board, but you may notice something different at the bars while the ship is still in Texas waters. It's called the Texas drink menu! Because of Texas alcohol regulations, Royal Caribbean offers a more limited selection of liquor brands while operating under those restrictions. That doesn't mean your drink package isn't working! You can still order eligible drinks from the available menu. Once the ship reaches waters where those restrictions no longer apply, the regular bar selection becomes available. If you've never cruised from Galveston before, don't let the different menu catch you by surprise. Have you ever sailed out of Texas? Did you notice the Texas drink menu?
