Courtyard McHenry Row Review | Walk to Baltimore Cruise Port
Courtyard McHenry Row Review | Walk to Baltimore Cruise Port We stayed at Courtyard by Marriott Baltimore Downtown/McHenry Row the night before our cruise and walked to the Port of Baltimore in about 9 minutes. This is a practical pre-cruise hotel review covering the drive in, Porter Street parking, the walk to Cruise Maryland Terminal, nearby food, and a short look at the room. If you are driving to a Baltimore cruise on Carnival or Royal Caribbean, this hotel is the closest Courtyard to the ship. Parking at the Porter Street lot was $10 per night after the night of our stay, which was cheaper and closer than other cruise-port parking we have used. Confirm current parking terms with the hotel before you book. The hotel is at 1803 Porter Street, Baltimore, MD 21230, next to Harris Teeter. That grocery stop is useful because Carnival and Royal Caribbean generally allow one 750 ml bottle of wine per stateroom and 12 cans or bottles of water or soda (17 oz or less) to be carried on. Buying those items before you board is usually far cheaper than ship prices. This is a location review first. We cover driving into Baltimore, hotel parking and park-and-cruise, the walk to the ship, and a brief look at a standard room. Rooms we saw were clean and comfortable, with a fridge, streaming TV, and a good shower. Night-before-cruise rates often landed around $180–$200. Have you driven to a cruise out of Baltimore?
