Welcome to Day 4 aboard the luxurious Cunard Queen Victoria (and let’s not forget the SS Rotterdam). We kick off our morning with a delightful breakfast spread at the buffet, fueling up for an exciting day ahead. Afterward, we disembark and take a leisurely stroll over to the historic SS Rotterdam, about 25 minutes walk away. The SS Rotterdam is the fifth Rotterdam ship and former flagship of the Holland-America Line where she was in service from 1959 until 2007. Today ss Rotterdam is permanently moored in Rotterdam and is open to the public as a museum, restaurant, conference venue, hotel as well as having a number of Escape rooms. We decided to take the self-guided tour which roughly 13 euros, this allowed us to look around many of the public rooms but also gave us access to formally restricted areas such as the bridge and the captains quarters which you will see shortly. Upon returning to the Queen Victoria, we indulge in the quintessentially British tradition of afternoon tea, but slightly more relaxes as this time we had it at the buffet. In the afternoon, it's time to pamper ourselves at the onboard spa, where we unwind. As the evening approaches, we dress up for a sumptuous dining experience at the Britannia Restaurant. With a backdrop of elegant décor and a warm ambiance, we savour each moment of this enchanting evening onboard the Queen Victoria.
