Cruise Ship Costa Deliziosa in Sydney on 141 day Cruise around the World 2026

A busy time in Sydney on a very warm Summer afternoon on the 23rd of Janurary. The Disney Cruise Ship Disney Wonder is the first to leave sounding her distinctive horn. If you listen carefully just before she sounds her horn at the Opera House an announcement is made from the Officer of the Watch suggesting the young passengers on the open decks cover their ears because the horn is loud 🔊 Regent Seven Seas Cruises Seven Seas Navigator followed close behind, she was beginning a 14 day Cruise to New Zealand. She visited Melbourne, Burnie, Tasmania, Hobart, Dunedin, Lyttelton- Christchurch, Wellington, Napier, Gisborne, Tauranga, Auckland, New Zealand. Costa Deliziosa then departed just after 7pm to continue her epic 141 day World Cruise, after two days in Sydney. She left Trieste, Italy on the 21st of November and will return to Trieste on April 11 that would be an amzing Cruise around the World. She has an interesting history, built in Denmark in 1922 and was originally named Our Svanen and is constructed from Danish Oak. Her hull is very strong and was able to handle light ice in the cold waters of Denmark and Greenland where she traded as a grain carrier. She also was a sail training vessel for Canadian sea cadets.
