Fiordland National Park (Te Rua o te Moko) Stunning Milford Sound
Experience Fiordland National Park from a cruise ship in New Zealand. This leg 7 of the journey explores Milford Sound, dramatic fjords, and remote coastal scenery Travelling around the bottom of the South Island and back up the west coast arriving in the Fiordland National Park on the 25th February. We’ll stop in Dusky Sounds and back out of Breaksea Sounds and then into Doubtful Sounds, which is more remote. We’ll also travel up to the amazing Milford Sounds, famous for its steep scenic Mitre Peak and waterfalls. All these are part of the Fiordland National Park. This is one place in New Zealand I haven’t visited and it’s one of the main reasons I’m doing this cruise for my 60th birthday.
