P&O Arcadia British Isles Cruise, Isle of Lewis, Stornoway, The Outer Hebrides on 4th June 2026
A review of our day in the Isle of Lewis, Stornoway, The Outer Hebrides. A nice welcome in the town. We moored up in Deep Water Terminal which is fairly new for cruise ships as previously tenders were required. A lot of road works were around the harbour. We had about 15 minutes bus ride to the town centre from where we could see our ship that looked quite close to us. We needed to use the Internet as we had tried the one hour free on the ship but it was so slow we could not finish one transaction before timing out. So when in the town we spied a library which was the perfect place to quietly sit and use the Internet. We walked around the town and along the river bank, over a small bridge and into the ground of Lews castle. Here there was the Woodland cafe where bought scones and coffee. @sheilacreatesmemories @sheilasvideolibrary6099
