We Gave MSC a 2nd Chance... For the PIZZA? (World America)
Our last MSC cruise wasn't bad, but it definitely had its quirks. Two years ago, it felt like they hadn't quite figured out their American demographic yet. We decided to give them another shot and booked a 7-day sailing on their brand-new mega-ship, the World America. Have they finally dialed it in, or did we really just book this to see if the pizza is still legendary? We went into Day 1 with our guard up, fully expecting the Miami cruise port to be a total disaster. What actually happened at Terminal AA set the tone for a massive 24-hour reality check. Let's just say we were suffering from a serious Oasis-class hangover. The MSC World America is absolutely beautiful, but trying to navigate the traditional "up, over, and down" deck layout completely turned us around. Between investigating the buffet, dealing with theater cup holders that defy logic, and a very interesting sail-away party, things got a little weird fast.
