Queen Mary 2 — our QM2 summer transatlantic crossing started cold, wet and windy in the middle of the North Atlantic… but that wasn’t remotely the strangest thing we encountered. Then we stumbled onto a SPOTTED DICK. Michael was intrigued. Andrea was suspicious. And then we were told: “It finishes with cream.” WHAT?! 😳 Things escalated quickly. Yes, we touched it. Yes, we tried it. And yes… Michael had thoughts afterward. 😂 Meanwhile, QM2 had passed the halfway point to Southampton, there was roughly 14,310 feet of North Atlantic beneath us, the waves were building, and we learned more about Queen Mary 2’s upcoming 2027 dry dock and refit.
