Juneau, Alaska Cruise Port Guide | Whale Watching, Tracy's Crab Shack & Goldbelt Tram | Episode 3
Welcome back to Episode 3 of our Alaska Adventure Series aboard the Norwegian Joy! 🐋🚢 This time we're exploring Juneau, Alaska, one of the most popular cruise ports in the state and one of our favorite stops on the trip. Our day started with an Ultimate Whale Watching Tour, where we spent several hours out on the water looking for humpback whales while enjoying incredible views of Alaska's coastline. On the way back to town, we even caught a glimpse of the beautiful Mendenhall Glacier. After the tour, we stopped for lunch at the famous Tracy's King Crab Shack, and it definitely lived up to the hype! The food was so good that we actually came back later in the day for dinner before heading back to the ship. Before returning to the Norwegian Joy, we rode the Goldbelt Tram to the top of Mount Roberts, where we enjoyed amazing panoramic views overlooking Juneau, the cruise ships, and the surrounding mountains. The observation area also has a restaurant, bar, gift shop, hiking trails, and plenty of places to relax and take in the scenery. If you're planning an Alaska cruise, Juneau is definitely a port you'll want to spend some time exploring.
