🌪️ WAIT… THIS IS A REAL STREET?! 😱🇩🇴 You will NOT believe what we discovered at Cabo Rojo in the Dominican Republic during our Royal Caribbean cruise aboard Freedom of the Seas! Welcome to Hurricane Upside Down Street, one of the craziest and most unusual attractions we’ve experienced on a Caribbean cruise! Between the colorful buildings, wild angles, and crazy optical illusions, this place had us questioning which way was up! 😂 And that wasn’t even the only fun part of our day! We’re taking you along as our family of eight explores Cabo Rojo, Dominican Republic, sharing the activities, attractions, and unforgettable moments that made this cruise port so much fun! 🚢 OUR CABO ROJO CRUISE PORT ADVENTURE Our family loves discovering new destinations, especially places with fun activities for both kids and adults. We were traveling with six adults and two little ones on an 11-day Caribbean vacation, and Cabo Rojo was such a fun stop along the way! Here’s what we enjoyed during our visit! 🌪️ HURRICANE UPSIDE DOWN STREET This was definitely one of the highlights of our day! Imagine walking down a street where everything looks completely tilted, twisted, and upside down! The colorful surroundings make it such a fun place to take pictures and videos. But here’s the funny part… My dad was SO thankful there was another street you could take instead! 😂 If you’re someone who gets vertigo or feels dizzy easily, you might understand exactly why! We couldn’t stop laughing about how crazy everything looked. It’s definitely an attraction that makes you do a double take! 🏀 FREE CARNIVAL GAMES One of our favorite surprises was discovering free carnival games at the port! And you know we couldn’t pass up basketball! As a family that loves cruising, I’m always excited to find activities that don’t require spending extra money. Sometimes the best vacation memories come from simple things like playing games together, laughing, and enjoying the moment. 🌊 LAZY RIVER FUN We also loved spending time in the lazy river! 🎡 FERRIS WHEEL ADVENTURES Duane and Levi also rode the Ferris wheel! Watching them experience these little adventures together is one of my favorite parts of traveling as a family. Our boys are growing up so quickly, and these are the memories I want them to carry with them forever. Traveling with kids isn’t always easy, but moments like these make it so worth it! ❤️ WHY WE LOVE FAMILY CRUISING One of my favorite things about cruising is waking up in a different destination and getting to experience something completely new. From beautiful beaches and exciting excursions to unusual attractions like Hurricane Upside Down Street, every cruise port has something different to offer. Cruising allows us to explore multiple destinations while having the convenience of returning to the same ship each evening.
