This was so much more than just another dinner onboard! If you’re planning a Royal Caribbean cruise, especially with kids, this is one specialty dining experience you’ll want to know about! In this video, I’m taking you along for our family’s Izumi Hibachi experience, including the incredible food, entertaining chefs, and something that meant so much to us as parents: how they accommodated our baby’s food allergy. ❤️ 🍣 WHAT IS IZUMI HIBACHI ON ROYAL CARIBBEAN? Izumi Hibachi is a specialty dining experience available on select Royal Caribbean ships where chefs prepare your meal right in front of you! Think sizzling grills, impressive cooking tricks, delicious food, and a whole lot of entertainment! Instead of simply sitting down for dinner, you get an interactive experience that the entire family can enjoy. 🔥 OUR IZUMI HIBACHI EXPERIENCE From the moment we sat down, the atmosphere was so much fun! The chefs were entertaining, the food was delicious, and our kids loved watching everything happening right in front of them. It’s one of those experiences that makes cruise vacations so memorable because you’re not just eating dinner. You’re making memories together! ❤️ CRUISING WITH FOOD ALLERGIES One thing I really wanted to share was how accommodating the Izumi staff were with our son Lukas. Lukas has an egg allergy, so naturally, we have to be extra careful when dining out, especially while traveling. We informed the staff about his allergy, and they prepared his meal FIRST before cooking everyone else’s food to help accommodate his needs. As a mom, that extra attention and care meant so much to me! Of course, if you’re cruising with food allergies, always communicate directly with the cruise line and dining staff about your specific needs. Allergy procedures and accommodations can vary, and no restaurant can guarantee an entirely allergen-free environment. 🚢 IS IZUMI HIBACHI WORTH IT? For our family, absolutely! We loved the combination of great food, entertainment, and spending quality time together. It’s a great option for families, couples, and anyone wanting something different from the traditional cruise dining experience. Keep in mind that Izumi Hibachi is a specialty dining experience with an additional charge, and availability varies by ship.
