Join us for Episode 7 of our Cunard Queen Mary 2 Eastbound Transatlantic Crossing as we spend another unforgettable sea day aboard the world’s last true ocean liner. This vlog is packed with iconic QM2 moments — from bow views and promenade walks to spa time, afternoon tea, and the final gala evening of the voyage. We begin the day up on the Observation Deck, taking in those spectacular forward‑facing views over the bow — a daily ritual we grew to love. After riding the panoramic lift down to Deck 7, we head out onto the Promenade Deck for a chilly but beautifully sunny stroll around Queen Mary 2’s open decks. No walk on QM2 is complete without admiring the Commodore’s Cufflinks — often mistaken for modern art, but actually spare propeller blades. As we explore both the port and starboard sides, we chat about the origin of the term P.O.S.H and why passengers historically chose their cabins based on the sun. Aft, we enjoy sweeping wake views and the vastness of the North Atlantic before settling into a lounger for a well‑earned break. Inside, the Carinthia Lounge greets us with the smell of hot chocolate — and once again becomes the perfect spot to relax, chat, and enjoy a light lunch. The spa was wonderfully quiet today, giving us full access to the thermal suite and a chance to properly unwind. Later, while taking the air on deck, we’re treated to a rainbow stretching across the ocean. In the afternoon, we return to the Queen’s Room for Cunard’s signature Afternoon Tea — complete with live music, today performed by a harpist. From scones to finger sandwiches, it’s an experience not to be missed. As evening arrives, we dress in our best and make a grand entrance down the sweeping staircase into the Britannia Restaurant for the final gala night of the voyage. Tonight includes the traditional Chef’s Parade — a wonderful moment to applaud the culinary teams who make the crossing so special. We finish the night with a relaxed drink in the Chart Room before heading to G32, Queen Mary 2’s late‑night disco and the last bar open onboard. If you enjoy classic ocean liner travel, promenade deck walks, Cunard traditions, and life at sea, you’ll love this episode. 🚢 Book your next cruise with Cruise Monkeys Travel: https://cruisemonkeys.com/book or 📞 0330 880 5555 👕 Official Merchandise - https://cruisemonkeys.com/shop 🔔 Subscribe & follow along for more cruise adventures! 🚢✨ 📧 Sign up for our newsletter: https://cruisemonkeys.com/newsletter-signup/ 📲 Find us on social media - https://cruisemonkeys.com/socials 📧 For everything else, drop us an email at hello@cruisemonkeys.com 🐒🍌🚢 About Us - Who are the Cruise Monkeys?
