AVA is a huge, modern family friendly resort located only about 10 minutes from Cancun International Airport. Every room has an ocean view, there are plenty of dining options, an adults only pool, kids areas, and the massive 2.8 acre AVA Bay saltwater lagoon. But there are also a few things you should know before booking. The beach may not be what some travelers picture when they think of Cancun, the resort is large enough that you can do quite a bit of walking, and some of the coolest activities, including bowling, laser tag, escape rooms, gaming experiences, and spa treatments, cost extra.
