We had just 8 hours to explore Melbourne during our Norwegian Spirit port day — and we packed a lot in! Instead of booking a cruise-line excursion, we booked the Ultimate Melbourne Walking Tour through GetYourGuide and set off to explore the city on foot. We wandered through Melbourne’s famous laneways and street art, stopped for some incredible coffee, explored Federation Square, Flinders Street Station, the Block Arcade, Royal Arcade, Chinatown, State Library Victoria, Old Melbourne Gaol and more. The tour ended at Captain Melville for a couple of cold ones and some great laughs, and we still had time afterwards to explore a little more on our own before heading back to the ship. Eight hours definitely wasn’t enough — we absolutely loved Melbourne and would love to come back and spend a few days here. 👉 Ultimate Melbourne Walking Tour: History, Laneways & Culture View the tour on GetYourGuide Tour booked independently through GetYourGuide.
