Burnie Tasmania Cruise Port ⚓️ Norwegian Spirit Beautiful Gardens & Tasmanian Devils
Our second port on the Norwegian Spirit was Burnie, Tasmania — a place I honestly knew very little about before this trip. We started the day with a beautiful sunrise before heading off on an NCL Spirit excursion through Burnie. Along the way, we learned a little about this working port and its long connection to Tasmania’s forestry industry. Our first stop was the beautiful Emu Valley Rhododendron Garden, where autumn colours, peaceful ponds, garden pavilions and late-blooming flowers made this one of the prettiest stops of the day. From there, we visited Wings Wildlife Park, home to more than 150 native and exotic species. By this point in our Australia trip we had already visited several wildlife parks, so I didn’t film very much — but I definitely couldn’t resist the Tasmanian devils… or a quick kookaburra cameo! Come along with us for our day in Burnie, Tasmania, as we continue our cruise aboard the Norwegian Spirit.
