Polar Bears & The Polar Plunge 🐻❄️🧊 Any day you get to see walruses, polar bears, massive glaciers, and hold a polar plunge is an absolute core memory! 🥹✨ Today we officially arrived in northwest Svalbard at the very top of the world, and the energy up here is completely surreal! 🏔️🧭 Here is how one of the most epic days of our entire journey unfolded 👇 🦣 Morning with the Walruses Our morning Zodiac landing brought us up close with a wild herd of walruses lounging along the shoreline. Watching these massive creatures in their natural habitat was unbelievable! 🦭🌊 🐻❄️ Spotted: The King of the Arctic After cruising through breathtaking fjords during lunch, the call went out—a wild polar bear was roaming along the coast! Watching him navigate the shoreline was a total bucket-list moment. Since polar bears are only found in the Arctic, seeing one in the wild is something we’ll never forget! 👑🏔️ 🧊 The Legendary Polar Plunge Then came the moment you’ve all been waiting for: the iconic Polar Plunge! Hundreds of you voted that I (Maddie) should jump into freezing Arctic waters to earn my jacket patch, but at heart, I am a 100% warm-water girlie. 😅 So Patrick stepped up like an absolute champ and jumped NOT ONCE, BUT TWICE into the icy ocean so we could both get a patch! Hey, that definitely counts, right?! 🥶🏆😉 We climbed into bed at the end of the night in total awe, agreeing this was hands-down one of the most surreal travel days we’ve ever had!
