Today I’m spending the morning at Disney’s Animal Kingdom! From Expedition Everest and Kilimanjaro Safaris to Pandora, Na’vi River Journey and Disney’s Tree of Life, I explore the park while sharing practical tips for visiting Animal Kingdom in the summer heat. I make my way towards Expedition Everest and discuss Disney's plans to fix the Yeti, before exploring the park and emarking on the Maharaja Jungle Trek. In Africa, I share a quieter seating area near Tamu Tamu Refreshments that provides shade and amenities, before visiting Zuri Sweets for an orange sugar cookie. I also talk about staying hydrated, taking regular breaks and managing the Florida heat during a summer Disney World holiday. The heat eventually gets the better of me, so I leave Disney’s Animal Kingdom and head back to Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside for the afternoon. With thunderstorms forecast, I decide not to return to the parks and instead take some time to rest and recover. The final part of the vlog is my Walt Disney World trip report. I look back at my stay at Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside, including my original Royal Guest Room, the check-in experience, the size of the resort and whether the resort is still my favourite. I share my highlight of the trip, my thoughts on visiting Walt Disney World during the UK summer school holidays, crowd levels, wait times, dining availability and the biggest challenge of the trip.
