This might have been our FAVORITE day of our entire Alaska cruise. 🐋🦀🌲 Today we’re getting off the Norwegian Joy at Icy Strait Point for one absolutely packed day in Alaska. We start with an unforgettable whale-watching excursion, where we got unbelievably close to some of Alaska’s incredible wildlife. But that was only the beginning. We also head into Hoonah, explore the rainforest, do some hiking, eat an incredible Alaskan crab feast, sit around the campfire, and even bring back a little old-school Getting Weird with Adam with a cemetery tour. ⚰️ There was so much packed into this day that it became one of those cruise stops we’ll be talking about for years. If you’re planning an Alaska cruise and wondering whether Icy Strait Point is worth visiting, what whale watching is actually like, or what there is to do around Hoonah, come spend the day with us and see why this ended up being one of the highlights of our entire trip. 🚢 CRUISE: Norwegian Joy 📍 PORT: Icy Strait Point / Hoonah, Alaska 🐋 Whale Watching 🦀 Alaskan Crab Feast 🌲 Rainforest & Hiking ⚰️ Cemetery Tour 🔥 Campfire & Exploring Hoonah Would YOU book the whale-watching excursion at Icy Strait Point?
