Christmas week is the most expensive week of the year to cruise the Caribbean — unless you know which sailings actually price well. These are 9 Christmas cruises worth booking now, and what that holiday premium really costs you. I go ship by ship — how old each one is, where it sails, and where you would actually wake up on Christmas morning. MSC Grandiosa, Virgin Voyages Resilient Lady, Coral Princess, Norwegian Breakaway, Holland America Zuiderdam, Sun Princess, Independence of the Seas, Celebrity Silhouette, and Norwegian Gem. We sold our home in Canada in 2022 and have lived on cruise ships full time ever since. We book our own sailings and pay our own fares, so the pricing here is what we see when we shop — not a brochure rate. Whether you are weighing a holiday cruise against staying home, against an all-inclusive resort, or against a Christmas you have already done three times, this is the comparison to watch before you put a deposit down.
