Before you book a balcony on Island Princess, watch this. Cabin A529 on Deck 12 (Aloha Deck, midship starboard, Princess Category BC) is a good cabin — but it comes with a problem nobody warns you about: every time we used the shower, the fire alarm at the bridge called us. There is also exactly one usable plug in the entire cabin. The balcony, though, is deeper than we expected. That is the actual version of a cabin tour. Not the brochure version.
