🏝️ WELCOME TO CASTAWAY CAY! Join me (Alice) and my sister Lisa for Day 2 of our Disney Wish cruise as we return to Disney's Castaway Cay for the first time since 2018! 🚢✨ We wake up early on the Disney Wish to the most incredible sight as the ship slowly backs into Castaway Cay - and seeing the island appear for the first time in years honestly felt SO special! This was our first visit back since 2018 and we couldn't wait to get off the ship and explore. After breakfast at Marceline Market (and some Mickey Waffles obvs), we head onto Disney's private island and spend the morning exploring Castaway Cay, starting with the adults-only Serenity Bay. The beach is absolutely stunning, the sea is crystal clear and we have what might just be the BEST pina colada ever! 🍹🏝️ My happy place is in one of those chairs, half in the ocean, drink in hand... omg, bliss 🥹 After some time soaking up the sun (and trying not to burn), we grab lunch at the Serenity Bay BBQ before heading to Pelican Plunge for the waterslides. We then try our hand at snorkelling, searching for the hidden Disney statues - and I was chuffed that we managed to find both Daisy and Dumbo! 🐘💕 Before heading back to the Disney Wish, we have a look around the shops, including She Sells Sea Shells... and Everything Else, before getting ready for another magical evening onboard. And the evening is just as busy and fun! We watch The Little Mermaid show with some delicious buttery Disney popcorn (must do), before I somehow end up being dragged into a Disney villains game show as a volunteer... at least I come away with some good Disney Cruise Line swag! 😂 We then have dinner at Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure, where the incredible vocalists completely blow us away. We LOVE the theming, atmosphere and food here - definitely much more our speed than Ant-Man and The Wasp at World of Marvel lol. Finally, after getting back to our room, I head out for a little late-night explore of the ship and finish the day with one of the iconic DCL hot chocolates. ☕️✨ And then it's time for bed because tomorrow is another HUGE first for us... Our first EVER day at Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point!
