American Adventure July 2026 - Part 2 - New York/Travel Day
Hi Everyone, Welcome to our travel day and first day arriving in New York City! We start our day at Edinburgh Airport and are very excited to travel to New York. Tracy has visited NYC before but it is Lee and Emily's first time visiting. Our flight was a direct flight by Delta Airlines from Edinburgh to New York and after 7 hours we landed in JFK International Airport. We then used public transportation to get to our hotel and found the journey easy to navigate. We then arrived at our hotel in Times Square, the Riu Plaza Manhattan Times Square, where we were allocated a room on the 45th floor with amazing views from ouw window. We then venture out to enjoy a trip round the sights and sounds of Time Square, enjoying the shops before enjoying an American Five Guys for dinner. Lee headed back out to get some supplies and filmed a bit more of the atmosphere and Times Square nightlife. This is the first of three days that we are in New York before we board our Cunard Queen Mary 2 cruise, and we hope you can join us for the New York vlogs and the rest of our adventure.
