My Manta Ray Adventure with H2O Bora Bora
My GoPro footage from an unforgettable day in the Bora Bora lagoon on Dec 9, 2025. I went on the H2O Bora Bora’s Eco Snorkeling Sites & Manta Rays Adventure. We had three snorkel stops: Stop 1: I saw three different manta rays — one at a time. Male manta rays can reach about 9 feet across. Females can reach up to 12 feet wide. Silent. Graceful. Powerful. It felt less like snorkeling and more like being invited into their world.Stop 2: We watched about 45 spotted eagle rays swimming below us — an incredible sight.Stop 3: Our third stop was at a coral garden with clear water, colorful clams, and schools of small tropical fish drifting through the reef. Small group, beautiful conditions, and the kind of snorkeling where you don’t rush — you just float, watch, and take it in. Huge thanks to our boat captain and expert guides Matt and Wilson — knowledgeable, respectful of the ocean, and fantastic hosts.
