Join us on a 5 night cruise from Southampton on Royal Caribbean’s Liberty of the Seas. The cruise stopped at 2 ports - Hamburg and Zeebrugge. In both ports, we did free walking tours: In Hamburg we did a Robin and the Tourguides “historic centre” free walking tour. This took us around the main sights of central Hamburg. In Bruges we joined the Guru Walk “Hidden Gems, the most beautiful places and the captivating history of Bruges”. The tour was lead by Peter Vanslambrouvk. We have done free walking tours all over the world, and this ranks as one of the very best. He was funny, knowledgeable and engaging. Highly recommended. We loved the ship, especially the entertainment. The Saturday Night Fever show and the ice show were both outstanding and we would happily have paid good money to see either in a theatre. We enjoyed the food - there was a good selection and service efficient. The one thing that we felt could have been better is more places to sit in the bars. At busy times it could be a challenge finding a seat. Overall, we would rate the 5 day cruise highly. It represented excellent value for money and was enormous fun. The 2 sea days gave us a good chance to enjoy the ship. Watch along with us!
