I’ve been on more than 25 cruises, and over the years I’ve gotten pretty good at keeping my onboard spending under control. I usually don’t spend much extra once I’m on the ship. My final bill is mostly things like automatic gratuities, a shore excursion if it’s really worth it, and sometimes a random trip to the medical center because one of my kids always seems to need one. In this video, I’m sharing 12 cruise extras I usually skip, including bottled water, specialty coffee, drink packages, room service fees, specialty dining, spa treatments, cruise photos and more. A lot of these things aren’t bad. I just don’t think they’re worth paying extra for the way I cruise.
