Queen Mary 2 World Cruise 2026 Part 13 Cape Town

Part 13 of our World cruise on Queen Mary 2 Leaving Durban, we have two sea days to Cape Town. After an early arrival, we take the shuttle to the Victoria and Alfred Wharf. We start walking to the town centre but as we get close a friendly security guard advises of certain issues in the area. We call for an Uber and head to Table Mountain. The weather was perfect for a visit today. For the evening we head back to the Wharf and the Time Out Market, really enjoyed the evening here. Day 2 We stayed local at the wharf today, plenty of shops, boat tours, bars and restaurants here. You could easily spend the whole day here. Captain Andrew Hall returns to take us home to Southampton. One day at sea to our next port Walvis Bay , Namibia
