Queen Mary 2 World Cruise 2026 Part 14 Walvis Bay and Dakar

Part 14 of our World cruise on Queen Mary 2 Leaving Cape Town , we have one sea day to Walvis Bay. We have no tours booked in Walvis Bay, we just make use of the shuttle bus to the Waterfront and then a shopping Mall (Biscuits acquired) Walking from the waterfront we head to Flamingo Lagoon... Unfortunately no Flamingos today, maybe next time. Leaving Walvis bay we have six days at sea to Dakar. Senegal Dakar QM2's inaugural visit. A warm welcome was extended by all on the dockside, dignitaries included. If you like drums Senegal is the place to be! We only enjoy a short shuttle journey today.
