Taste of Texas has been a Houston favorite since 1977, known for its premium Certified Angus Beef steaks, Texas hospitality, and fascinating collection of Texas historical memorabilia. During our visit, we experienced what makes this restaurant so special! One of the highlights is getting to visit the butcher's counter and select your own steak. I chose a 14-ounce filet mignon, and it was absolutely delicious! We also enjoyed the restaurant's impressive salad bar, but one of the biggest surprises came at dessert. The cinnamon ice cream was wonderful! It's something I would definitely recommend trying.
