Princess Just Raised Plus & Premier AGAIN — And You’re Getting Nothing New

Princess Plus and Princess Premier are getting more expensive again. Beginning with sailings departing on or after October 13, 2026, both packages increase by $5 per guest, per day — and this time, Princess is not adding a new package benefit alongside the higher price. In this video, we break down the new Princess Plus and Princess Premier pricing, how much the increase really adds to a 7-, 10- and 14-day cruise, and why the change may frustrate passengers who already felt the packages were getting expensive. We also look at the major changes to standalone MedallionNet Wi-Fi. Princess is introducing a new 2-device Wi-Fi plan, raising pricing on the 1-device option, and discontinuing the standalone 4-device plan. Four-device Wi-Fi will now remain available through Princess Premier rather than as a separate purchase option. The new pre-cruise package prices are $70 per day for Princess Plus and $105 per day for Princess Premier, with higher pricing on Sun Princess and Star Princess. Princess’s updated materials also confirm that Plus continues to include one-device MedallionNet Max while Premier includes four devices, with the four-device option no longer available à la carte. There is some good news if you already purchased a package for a 2026 sailing. Princess says Plus and Premier packages purchased before October 13 will be honored with their existing benefits and no action is required. I also revisit a prediction I made in August that another package price increase was likely coming — and now it has. The bigger question is whether the value still makes sense. Princess Plus and Premier can still be worthwhile depending on how you cruise, but higher prices and fewer standalone Wi-Fi options change the calculation again. We’ll be following this video with a completely updated Princess Plus vs. Premier cost analysis, using the new package prices, Wi-Fi rates, dining, drinks, crew appreciation, excursion credits and more.
